THE BODO WAY.
What happens when you follow your own dream, your passion, your ambition – and you absolutely refuse to let anybody or anything get in your way? The BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is the open-top counterpart to the BRABUS BODO Gran Turismo Coupe and a deeply personal tribute to company founder Bodo Buschmann. Inspired by his lifelong passion for powerful, fast cabriolets, the strictly limited the 2+2-seater combines a coachbuilt carbon-fiber body and active aerodynamics with a 735 kW / 1,000 hp twin-turbo V12 and an intricately hand-crafted BRABUS Masterpiece interior.

More than a bold design evolution, the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET represents the fulfilment of a vision shared by Bodo Buschmann and his son Constantin nearly two decades ago: to create an unmistakable, attitude-forward Gran Turismo developed entirely in the spirit of BRABUS. The BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is limited to just 77 vehicles worldwide, produced as a separate limited series from the Gran Turismo Coupe.

One dream. One legacy. One car.
This is BODO.

DESIGN & EXTERIOR. BORN FROM PASSION.
“I want to build a large coupe,” we would hear Bodo say time and again. “A Gran Turismo. Attitude-forward, high-class, unapologetic. I want it to be inspired by the golden age of the automobile, yet translated into modern day. Progressive, bold, effortless in its presence, powerful and undeniably BRABUS.” Now, we are honoring his name by finally bringing his vision to life. And, of course, it could only carry one name: BODO. Production is limited to 77 units worldwide, with annual production volumes ranging between 10 and 15 vehicles.

With the support of state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology, numerous iterations were developed until the BRABUS engineers, designers and production experts arrived at the perfect synthesis of striking aesthetics and uncompromising power. Slated for a top speed of 360 km/h (223 mph) since the first sketch of the BRABUS BODO was put to paper, aerodynamic efficiency also played a defining role throughout the entire engineering process, with strong vertical load and precise balance between the front and rear axles forming key pillars of the vehicle’s development.

To achieve this, the entire body—apart from the windows and fixed panoramic glass roof—was constructed from high-strength carbon fiber. Within BRABUS’ advanced composite manufacturing facilities, each individual component was formed using molds and then cured under controlled heat and pressure inside an autoclave. Particular emphasis was placed on perfect fitment, exemplary panel gaps and flawlessly smooth surface finishes.

At 202.7 centimeters (79.8 in.) wide, the BODO CABRIOLET has a commanding rear stance. Its taillight architecture provides another unmistakable design signature, featuring seven individual LED lighting elements on each side, complemented by a centrally positioned illuminated BRABUS logo using the same lighting technology. The carbon-fiber diffuser integrated into the rear apron frames the titanium twin tailpipes of the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system on either side, produced using a high-tech 3D metal-printing process.

Like its Gran Turismo Coupe counterpart, the new open-top Masterpiece supercar measures 506.2 centimeters (199.3 in.) in length and stands just 130.5 centimeters (51.3 in.) tall, emphasizing its low, striking silhouette. Viewed from the side, the rear sections taper dynamically toward the back and transition seamlessly into the rear end. A defining element of the design is the “Bodo Line,” a continuous contour extending from the vehicle’s nose all the way to the rear on either side. As an additional detail, the BRABUS logo combined with a stylized graphic is projected onto the ground when the doors are opened.

POWER & SOUND. UNMISTAKABLE.
At the heart of the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is a hand-built 5.2-liter V12 biturbo engine producing 735 kW / 1,000 hp at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft), available between 2,900 and 5,000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with torque converter, which can also be operated manually using the carbon-fiber BRABUS paddle shifters at the steering wheel. An electronically controlled differential with up to 100 percent locking capability optimally distributes power between the two driven rear wheels.

From a standstill, the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds. After 8.5 seconds, the 2+2-seater reaches 200 km/h (124 mph). The sprint from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) is completed in 23.9 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 360 km/h (223 mph).

The BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system is calibrated with equal precision. Four carefully tuned metal catalytic converters and special gasoline particulate filters optimize exhaust backpressure across the rev range, supporting efficient gas flow and contributing to maximum power delivery. Electronically controlled exhaust valves allow the driver to vary the acoustic character from a more discreet tone to an extremely sporty V12 engine note.

WHEELS & SUSPENSION. ROLLING SHADOW.
The 2+2-seater’s Kevlar-lined wheel arches accommodate 22-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT “Platinum Edition” forged wheels. Manufactured using state-of-the-art forging technology and CNC machining, their signature “Shadow” design features 20 concave spokes and a center-lock-style hub cover. The wheels are fitted withPirelli P Zero high-performance tires. Developed specifically for the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET and also available for the coupe model, the dedicated Pirelli P Zero measures 285/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear. Its structure and compound were optimized to maximize high-speed stability and transfer the V12 engine’s immense power and torque to the road while maintaining a high level of driving comfort and steering precision. In line with Pirelli’s Perfect Fit strategy, the bespoke tires are identified by an exclusive “BB” marking on the sidewall.

The suspension architecture of the BRABUS BODO combines a double wishbone front setup with a highly sophisticated multi-link rear axle. From the cockpit, the driver can select from five different driving modes, ranging from a comfort-oriented setup for everyday road use to a distinctly firm configuration designed for maximum performance on the racetrack. Furthermore, the BODO CABRIOLET is equipped with a lift system for both the front and rear axles, allowing the entire vehicle to be raised by approximately 25 millimeters (0.9 in.). Once a speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) is reached, the suspension automatically returns to its normal ride height.
